Alexis was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba in 1971. He grew up far away from God until he was 20 years old. Alexis was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba in 1971. He grew up far away from God until he was 20 years old. He was studying medicine at the university when a friend talked to him about Jesus, after lot of Bible reading and spiritual fight he accept Jesus in his live and receive the grace of God. He was actively involved in a university Christian group that met every week at the first Baptist Church in Cienfuegos of whish he was a member until he graduate from the University in 1995. After his graduation he enters into the Baptist Theological Seminary of Havana. He studied there until 1999 when he got his a Bachelor Degree in Theology. During that time he serves y several churches.
From 1999 to 2008 he served in three churches as a pastor in the central region of Cuba, in Zulueta, Placetas and Santa Clara. During this period he also was founder and professor of Homiletics, Hermeneutics and Hebrew of “Dr. Luis Manuel González Peña” Theological Seminary based in the First Baptist Church in Santa Clara. From 2005 to 2008 he got a Master Degree in Theology with emphasis in Youth Ministry offer by Youth Ministry International in cooperation with seminaries in Cuba. In 2008 he travels to England and lived there for one year to attend “Cornhill Training Course” from Proclamation Trust, a ministry that train leaders and pastors in expository preaching.
When he came back from England he and pastor Elioenai Martiz founded Equipo Impacto a ministry focused on the training of leaders and pastors in the faithful and expository preaching of the Word of God.
At the present he lives in Havana with his wife Lourdes and together they travel the Island preaching and running workshops in expository preaching. He expects to begin a Doctor of Ministry degree in Expository Preaching at Southern Theological Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Less |

He served some years as a soldier in the British Army before training as a mission partner to serve in basic Bible training in Paraguay during the 1990's. Since 2000 he has been Mission Director of Crosslinks, a mission society serving churches from the UK and Ireland in God's mission of proclaiming salvation to the ends of the earth.

Before joining the Proclamation Trust, David was Senior Minister of Above Bar Church, Southampton –a free church congregation in the city centre. He joined the staff there in 1976, having studied theology at Trinity College, Bristol, and worked for six years as a staff worker with the Inter-Varsity Fellowship (now UCCF). He read English at Cambridge University and was a grammar school teacher for four years.
David is married to Heather and they have two adult married children and four grandchildren. His spare-time interests include historical biography, piano playing and walking.
David has written several books, including Opening Up the Bible (Hodder & Stoughton, 2006), Spirit of Truth (Christian Focus 2006) and the volumes on the letters of John in The Bible Speaks Today series (IVP) and on Judges and Ruth in “The Communicator’s Commentary” (Word USA). Juan was born in Puerto Rico on July 29, 1965, and lived there until moving to central Florida with his family when he was almost eight years old. Though having grown up religious, Juan began to struggle with faith issues when high school friends introduced the gospel to him at the age of 16; however, he wrestled with the truth of the gospel for about a year and confessed faith in Christ in June of 1983.
After graduating high school, Juan enlisted in the United States Navy, where he received a Navy R.O.T.C. scholarship to the University of Florida with the intention of pursuing a commission as a naval officer. In his third semester of studies, however, Juan sensed a call to the gospel ministry and relinquished his scholarship. He completed his obligations to the Navy and returned to the University of Florida where he completed a Bachelor of Music degree (Music Education, 1994). In 1998, Juan moved to Louisville, Kentucky to attend the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div., 2000; Th.M., 2002; Ph. D. candidate in systematic theology, 2002-present) in preparation for ministry.
Juan has served local churches in Florida, Georgia and Indiana and in August of 2005, he accepted the call to become the preaching pastor at High Pointe Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. High Pointe is a multi-ethnic congregation with both a local and a global focus to see all peoples become whole-hearted followers of Jesus Christ.
Juan has been joyfully married to Jeanine since June 29, 1990, and they presently reside just outside of Austin, in Manor, Texas with their five daughters: Alexandra (1991), Hope Amanda (1995), Gabrielle (1997), Zoe (2000) and Maxey (2003).

Dedicated to ministry from very young (1995), he had served as pastor teacher, church planter and younger leaders and pastors trainer until today. With his wife Leydis and their children Miguel Alejandro (13) y Noel David (11), their love for God and others had provide them the adventure of life they enjoy the most through serving together to the Lord. He had travel also to teach and being taught to several countries, something he enjoy and is grateful for, but even when is difficult to explain: his heart is in Cuba, where despite the situations, they remain living and serving the Lord.
On 2008 he finished his Master Degree on Theology and starts to multiply the faithful Bible teaching ministry all across Cuba when with his colleague Alexis launch Equipo Impacto ministry and dedicated to this full time. Elio frequently said that God give us the life to know Him, delight on Him and –on the way, being an influence on others with His love and message. He enjoy all his responsibilities, specially to spend time with his family, that together are almost 30 persons, whose by God’s grace everyone live for God and serve in ministry.

Robert earned a BA in Early Christian Literature at the University of Chicago and a master's in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also presently working on a PhD in New Testament at the University of Bristol. Prior to his doctoral work, Robert served as a pastoral intern at Holy Trinity Church for six years.

Having left the Army he served as a youth worker at a church in Basingstoke after which he trained for Church of England ministry at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford. Rupert loves his family, enjoys sport (playing and watching!), tries to keep fit and chases after times in snowy mountains.
